Dear faithful readers:
Happy New Year! This is another year when we can tell someone something good! We hope that you have found TMSG to be helpful and useful as you live your life to the fullest. We are looking at 2012 as another year of opportunity. The economy is rebounding, unemployment is dropping (although not as fast for African Americans) and this is an election year. We are going to try to help you to keep abreast of African American candidates in areas outside of Chicago. But you know we will need your help. You can help us by providing contact information on African American candidates in your area. You can send the information to me at Sherman@tellmesomethingood.org (remember only one “g” between the words “thing” and “good.” Remember, we must vote and be active on both the national, county and local levels.
We hope all of you are telling someone something good every chance you get. We will get through this little “pebble in the road” economy. Stay positive and don’t let the naysayers trick you into thinking otherwise.
