The circuit judges of the 16th Judicial Circuit have selected Reginald N. Campbell for associate judge. Campbell was sworn in March 2, and will preside over the Elgin, IL Branch Court.
Campbell was admitted to the practice of law in November 1992. He began his career as an associate in the Law Offices of Herb Hill in Aurora. He then worked as a solo practitioner from 1994 until 1996, when he went to work as a senior manager for PNC Mortgage Securities Corp.
In 2001, he became an assistant state’s attorney in Kane County. He left in 2006 and joined the Law Office of Richard C. Irvin, and is currently a partner in the law firm of Pedersen, Campbell and Irvin in Aurora, where he practices today.
Campbell is a graduate of Oswego High School and received in undergraduate degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University. He was awarded his CPA, by the University of Illinois, in 1985. He received his law degree from the University of Indiana.
Campbell is a member of the Illinois State Bar and the Kane County Bar Association and as such he has lectured various groups on such topics as identity theft, expungements and estate planning.
