Great Turnout for Second Book Launch for TMSG Publisher's Book At Santori Aurora Public Library

On Saturday, December 3rd. at the Santori Aurora, IL Public Library, 101 S. River Street in downtown Aurora, IL approximately 50 people attended the second book launch/presentation/book signing event for TMSG Publisher's new book: "Ted Strong Jr.: The Untold Story of an Original Harlem Globetrotter and Negro Leagues All-Star."

From 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in room 126 of the library, Sherman Jenkins discussed his important biography of Ted Strong Jr., a two-sport African-American athlete from the 1930s and 1940s. Mr. Jenkins documents the racial challenges of the time and also the incredible strength of those who managed success despite the obstacles. A book-signing follows Mr. Jenkins' talk.

"I want to thank the Aurora Public Library for its support of this important work about this unsung two-sports athlete," Mr. Jenkins said. "The Strong family has roots in Aurora."
