Fox Valley Christian Ministerial Alliance Scholarship Banquet A Resounding Success

More than 100 people from Aurora and the surrounding community came out for the 8th Annual Fox Valley Christian Ministerial Alliance (FVCMA) banquet held recently at the Gaslight Manor in Aurora, IL.

Attendees witnessed the organization recognize community leaders for their tireless efforts to help those in need. The honorees receiving awards were Reverend Larry Clark, Dr. Vincent Gaddis, Daniel S. Haas and Reverend Vickie R. Thornton. Several musical selections were provided by soloist Barbetta Neil and the guest speaker for the evening was television personality, professor and national spokesperson for Rainbow PUSH Jonathan L. Jackson.

As the President of FVCMA said, "we are not an island by ourselves, we take great pride in working with our brothers and sisters in the gospel. We supported and participated in the 40 day pray for our City, hosted the annual MLK cross-denominational prayer breakfast, supported family prayer gatherings, walks for breast cancer, helped those in need, addressed issues of the Faith, and provided leadership and support to fellow churches."

Keep up the good work FVCMA!
